In March 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and three other departments issued a notice regarding the “General Aviation Equipment Innovation Application Trial Plan (2024-2030).” The plan aims for a significant enhancement in China’s general aviation equipment supply capacity and industrial innovation ability by 2027, featuring new types of general aviation equipment characterized by automation, electrification, and intelligence, which will achieve commercial applications in urban air transport, logistics delivery, and emergency rescue.

Developing the general aviation manufacturing industry and accelerating the innovative application of general aviation equipment are crucial measures to create new momentum and advantages for the aviation industry’s development, as well as to promote the growth of the low-altitude economy. This aligns with the requirements for advancing China as a manufacturing and transportation powerhouse. The “Shanghai International Low-Altitude Economy & UAV System Technology Expo 2024,” co-hosted by the Shanghai General Aviation Industry Association, the Low Altitude Economy 100 Forum, and Shanghai Huamei Expo Co., Ltd., will be grandly held in Shanghai. Concurrently, the 2024 Shanghai International Low Altitude Economy Industry Conference will take place.

As the world’s largest and most influential annual event in the low-altitude economy sector, this exhibition has gained recognition from numerous suppliers and buyers both domestically and internationally. The “Shanghai International Low-Altitude Economy & UAV System Technology Expo 2024” plays a positive role in advancing the development of China’s low-altitude flight industry, becoming an essential platform for industry exchange, learning, and procurement. Additionally, the exhibition will host a high-level forum focusing on the low-altitude economy industry chain to promote industry collaboration and development.

The expo will be held from November 28 to 30 at the Shanghai International Procurement Exhibition Center, covering an area of over 12,000 square meters, with more than 300 exhibitors expected and over 18,000 professional visitors anticipated.
